French aircraft handling group Crit has acquired a majority stake in CityJet Handling, the subsidiary of CityJet that recently obtained a third-party handling licence from the Department of Public Enterprise. The Crit investment is understood to value CityJet Handling at around £1.2 million (€1.5 million). Some larger airlines at Dublin Airport such as Aer Lingus and Ryanair have their own ground handling operations, with smaller operators serviced mainly by the British group Servisair. CityJet Handling is expected to begin operations with CityJet as its main customer.
