Orange juice company Tropicana UK yesterday bought apple drinks-maker Copella Fruit Juices for an undisclosed sum. The deal means that London-based Tropicana, a subsidiary of US giant Seagram, will own its first British factory, at Boxford, near the Suffolk-Essex border, where Copella employos 41 people.
