Come the new year, consumers will have the opportunity to compare various financial products online. Finfacts, the Irish business web gateway, is launching a personal and business finance portal allowing consumers access to data across the areas of personal finance. The main categories are mortgages, insurance and life assurance products, deposit and related financial products, credit cards, pension products, health insurance and an interface to Internet banking. Daily personal finance news and portfolio tools will allow a user to track both personal shares and funds holdings. Independent editorial and financial markets information will be available throughout the site.
The new section of www.finfacts.com will go live early in 2000.
