The Bromley Group, an Irish provider of business intelligence products has launched its new FastMart product. Bromley claims it is the first wholly Irish-owned and developed Internet-based business intelligence tool. It is a software product which makes data stored on companies' databases readily accessible and comprehensible to employees.

Bromley predicts the Irish market for business intelligence tools is estimated to grow at a rate of 30 per cent per annum to reach a cumulative value of up to £100 million by 2002.

Mr Matthew Maxwell, managing director of the Bromley Group, is confident the uptake of FastMart on domestic and international markets will be strong. "The principal benefit of FastMart is that it facilitates more informed decision-making by providing more immediate access to key company information by designated persons anywhere in the world. This, in turn, improves the quality and timeliness of corporate decisions and facilitates increased competitiveness in what is now a global marketplace."
