Ballsbridge home worth £300,000

THE house in which investment manager Tony Taylor resided is worth around £300,000 according to property sources

THE house in which investment manager Tony Taylor resided is worth around £300,000 according to property sources. The house, called Somerset, is situated in a quiet enclave just off Anglesea Road in Ballsbridge.

The ivy clad house, which is said to have been built in the 1930s, has been upgraded and extended over the years. Some sources say it could be worth up to £350,000.

Approached by a long narrow drive it stands in its own landscaped grounds, surrounded by trees.

Although the rooms are not large, the house appears to have been very well maintained and tastefully furnished. It was empty yesterday when The Irish Times visited. A picture of Mr Taylor was prominently displayed among a cluster of photographs in the front sitting room.
