AIB has reduced its interest rates. The bank has cut its mortgage interest rate by 0.25 of a percentage point to 5.25 per cent with effect from this week. AIB has also cut the rate of interest charged on its credit cards by one percentage point. Its Gold Visa and Mastercard rates fall to 1.31 per cent per month and the standard Visa and Mastercard moves to 1.59 per cent monthly.
