Show Jumping: Billy Twomey, Ireland's lone representative at the Olympia show jumping championships, opened his account at the London fixture by riding Anastasia into fifth place in the opening speed class yesterday. The Cork rider plans to ride the 10-year-old mare in this afternoon's pre-World Cup qualifier, which decides the starting order for Sunday's World Cup class.

"I'd like to think I have as good a chance as anyone else", Twomey said yesterday. "She won in Brussels and was fourth in Belfast, so she's pretty good indoors, but unless I win and pick up a lot of points I won't be going to any other World Cup shows."
