Triple Espom Derby-winning jockey Walter Swinburn could be back race racing at the end of the month. Swinburn has not been in action on a racecourse since winning the Heinz 57 at Leopardstown in August 1998.
He has, however, been riding out for Newmarket trainer Jimmy Noseda recently.
He is due to meet the Jockey Club's medical adviser Dr Michael Turner and the five members of the licensing committee later this month and, if all goes well, could be back at Doncaster's Lincoln meeting.
