Peter Stringer is in line to return to domestic duty when Munster take on the Ospreys in the Magners Celtic League this weekend.

The Ireland international, seen as surplus to requirements by Eddie O'Sullivan during the final two Pool defeats at the hands of France and Argentina, has been drafted into Declan Kidney's extended 26-man squad having been afforded a break last weekend.

Also included is Brian Carney, who was an unused squad member during Ireland's ill-fated campaign in France while Frankie Sheahan and Alan Quinlan are again involved.
