South Africa 36 Scotland 16: Fullback Percy Montgomery scored 21 points and South Africa four tries in a crushing defeat of Scotland in Durban today.
Montgomery touched down once, and kicked two conversions and four penalties to keep the home side on top throughout.
Scotland's only reply was a late converted try by replacement left wing Simon Webster and three penalties by right wing Chris Paterson.
The home side's win was built on a commanding performance by their forwards, who were especially dominant in the scrums. Under coach Jake White, South Africa have now won 11 of their 12 home matches with the other drawn.
Scotland have yet to beat the Springboks in South Africa after four tests in the republic.
