The provincial battle between Leinster and Munster for a place in the final of the Heineken European Cup will take place on Sunday, April 23rd at Landowne Road at 3pm.

The ERC announced details of both semi-finals today with the clash between Bath and Biarritz in the other semi-final to get under way on Saturday 22nd (4pm) at Estadio Anoeta, San Sebastian.

At this stage it appears both Leinster and Munster will get around 20,000 tickets each while the ERC will hold back around 9000 tickets to satisfy sponsors and corporate hospitality.

"The supply will come nowhere near to satisfying the demand," said a Munster spokesperson to the Irish Times.

Leinster chief executive Mick Dawson admitted, "Logistically, it will be the most difficult operation we've ever had to manage."

The pity is Croke Park's 80,000 capacity is unavailable. These will be the hottest tickets in town.
