Ulster 17 Cardiff Blues 26: Ulster legend David Humphreys' widely anticipated final bow ended after only eight minutes in the last ever game of the season when he limped off with a calf injury.

Given a standing ovation on his entrance, Humphreys' last outing ended almost as soon as it had begun after the clearly unfit number 10 had been forced to make a number of tackles in the face of Cardiff's bright opening.

The Blues went on to record a bonus point win, with two tries from man of the match Maama Molitika helping guarantee the visitors runners-up spot behind champions Leinster.

On a night when Ulster also bade farewell to Justin Harrison, Tommy Bowe, Neil Best, Roger Wilson and Mark Bartholomeusz, the sight of Humphreys hopping away from the pitch was hardly the way it was meant to finish.
