England coach Andy Robinson can include Mark Cueto in his plans for the November internationals after the Sale winger escaped any major damage to his ankle.
Robinson faced an anxious wait after Cueto limped off just 12 minutes into the Sharks' European Cup defeat to the Ospreys on Friday. But a scan revealed good news and Cueto is now aiming to be fit for Sale's clash with Calvisano this Friday.
There were also concerns over Josh Lewsey after he limped out of Wasps' win over Castres with a tight hamstring. But the move was only precautionary and Lewsey has been assessed by the Wasps medics and given clearance to return to training.
The All Blacks have named uncapped scrumhalf Andrew Ellis and fit-again lock Keith Robinson in a 32-man squad.
