Cork City v Dundalk

With no injury or suspension worries, Cork look set to persist with their 3-5-2 formation that came to within two minutes of earning a win against Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds last week.

That means Alan Carey stays as the right wingback with Alan Bennett in the middle with Mark Herrick and Conor O'Grady in front of a back three of Declan Daly, Derek Coughlan and Damien O'Rourke.

Dundalk manager, Martin Murray, has been greatly encouraged by his side's performances so far. Two draws and a narrow defeat may not augur well, but they were all games they could have won.

"We had the chances to win all three games so far," said Murray. "The fact we're off to Cork to play a team looking for its first win means it will probably be another draw! But we are playing well and creating chances and certainly haven't been found wanting in the Premier Division." Murray is boosted by the fact that central defender Stephen McGuinness looks fit to resume despite having to go off following the challenge that resulted in Richie Foran being red-carded in last week's game with Shelbourne.

Bryan McCrystal (knee) is out for a fortnight at least while Stuart Connolly (hamstring) is also still sidelined leaving Murray with very much the same 11 available to him as started against Shelbourne.
