ROWING:CORK REGATTA, the final round of the eFlow Go Row League and the last big domestic event before the Irish Championships, has drawn such a big entry (498 crews) that some key races have been brought forward.

Division One of the women’s and men’s pairs and single sculls is set to be run through between 6pm and 9.20pm tonight – the races will be used as a trial for the Home Internationals.

John Keohane and Paul O’Donovan go head to head in the men’s single sculls. Keohane won the first round of the eFlow League at Skibbereen Regatta and was second in the Elite Single Scull at Marlow Regatta last weekend, while O’Donovan took fourth at last year’s World Junior Championships. UCD’s Dave Neale will hope to pull off an upset.

The women’s single scull gives Monika Dukarska of Killorglin a chance to finish the League with wins in two of the three events actually run (Metro had to be abandoned because of high winds).
