U-21 Ulster First Round/Tyrone 0-19 Donegal 0-9:Cathal McCarron scored 10 points as Tyrone launched their Ulster under-21 championship with a comfortable preliminary-round victory at Healy Park.

McCarron, one of six senior squad members in the side, converted four early frees to help open up a 0-9 to 0-6 lead by half-time and Tyrone dominated the second half after Donegal's Shane Boyle was sent off.
