NHL DIVISION TWO Laois 1-16 Carlow 1-10:LAOIS WON the bragging rights in this local derby at Dr Cullen Park yesterday.
By half-time the visitors had stormed 0-9 to 0-3 ahead and they remained in the comfort zone throughout the second half.
Three minutes after the restart Carlow midfielder Damien Roberts and Laois half-back Conor Dunne were both shown red cards.
The game was killed off by Laois when Zane Keenan sent a ground shot hurtling to the Carlow net on 50 minutes.
There was late consolation for Carlow when Craig Doyle scored a goal but the home county’s woe was complete when John Rogers and Edward Coady were sent off.
