Dean Healy’s point secures win for Wicklow over Carlow IT

Experimental Wicklow got their O'Byrne Cup campaign off to a winning start with a one-point victory over IT Carlow at Ashford yesterday.

Only y one black card was issued minutes from the end to Wicklow wing-back Kevin Murphy. Wicklow took a 1-6 to 0-6 lead into the break with a well worked goal. Ciaran Hyland saw his shot parried but Dean Odlum was on hand to volley home.
