Tidings aren’t great. The suspicion that the run through last year’s qualifiers papered over a multitude of cracks won’t go away unless and until they beat a team of substance. Only avoided Division Three by the skin of their teeth and without Michael Meehan it’s hard to see where inspiration will come from this time around.


Last good day: Connacht title in 2008. Slim pickings ever since.
