Barry John Keane returns to Kerry starting line-up for visit to Cork

Cork boss Brian Cuthbert selects Stephen O’Donoghue to start at centrefield

All-Ireland champions Kerry and Munster rivals Cork have both named one change in their teams for Sunday’s Division One meeting in Páirc Uí Rinn. Eamonn Fitzmaurice replaces Paul Geaney, who has a slight hip injury, with Barry John Keane.

There is no sign just yet of former Footballer of the Year Paul Galvin who announced this week that he was coming out of retirement after a year but the Kerry bench does feature some important names on the way back from injury, including All Star Peter Crowley, All-Ireland goalkeeper Brian Kelly, Tadhg Enright and Paul O’Donoghue.

Fitzmaurice’s counterpart Brian Cuthbert brings Stephen O’Donoghue in for Donncha O’Connor with Mark Collins switching to full forward and O’Donoghue coming in at centrefield.

Mayo make five changes for the team to play Derry in Celtic Park. Kenneth O’Malley takes over in goal from Robbie Hennelly and in the half backs Ger Cafferkey and Colm Boyle are named in place of Stephen Coen and Patrick Durcan, among a number of players who weren’t considered in advance of the Connacht under-21 championship.

Elsewhere Danny Kirby comes in for the injured Donal Vaughan at centrefield whereas Micheál Forde replaces another under-21 Diarmuid O’Connor at wing forward.

Derry welcome back Mark Lynch after suspension Aidan McAlynn also comes in with Eoin Bradley and Barry McGoldrick dropping out.

Tyrone football manager Mickey Harte has named an unchanged team for tomorrow evening’s Division One match against Dublin in Croke Park. The only alteration to the panel after last week’s draw with Derry sees the return to the bench of Patrick McNiece for the first time this season.

All-Ireland hurling champions Kilkenny will have Jonjo Farrell available for Sunday’s trip to Galway after the announcement that the player had been cleared of striking in the league match with Dublin last month. In a controversial decision during the first half of the match Cork referee Colm Lyons showed Farrell a straight red card.
