U-21 Munster First Round/Clare 1-6 Kerry 0-6:Clare caused a major upset when they had a merited win over last year's champions Kerry in Kilmihil on Saturday.

Leading by a solitary point - 0-4 to 0-3 - at the break, a goal from David Ryan in the 35th minute gave Clare the impetus to go all the way.

The winners will now face Tipperary in the semi-final at Kilmallock next Saturday, with the winners facing either Cork or Waterford in the provincial decider.
