Second-half substitute Peguy Luyindula grabbed a dramatic equaliser for Olympique Lyon with three minutes of normal time remaining as they drew 1-1 with Bayern Munich in Group A.

Luyindula, who came on for striker Sidney Govou after 68 minutes scored with a diving header, after intense pressure from the French side. Roy Mackaay had given Bayern a first-half lead.

As Arsenal lost in Kiev, Group B leaders Internazionale were doing likewise in Moscow going down 3-0 to Lokomotiv Moscow. Goals from Dmitry Loskov, Mikheil Ashvetia and Dmitry Khokhlov wrapped up a comfortable win for the Russian side before the hour mark.

A late goal from striker Diego Tristan allowed Deportivo Coruna to snatch a 1-0 win over Monaco in their Group C match at the Riazor.

Tristan saw his close-range shot take a deflection off Monaco keeper Flavio Roma and squirm into the net seven minutes from time to allow the Galicians to displace the French side as group leaders.

PSV Eindhoven re-ignited their campaign with a scrappy 1-0 away win over AEK Athens. The Dutch side's goal was a gift from goalkeeper Christostomos Michailides whose suicidal throw let in Theo Lucius to score in the 37th minute.

In Group D, Marco Di Vaio and David Trezeguet scored two goals each as Italian champions Juventus beat Real Sociedad 4-2 to take a big step towards the knockout stage.

Real pulled one back when Juve defender Igor Tudor turned an Igor Gabilondo cross into his own net and the Spaniards added a second 10 minutes from the end with a thundering free-kick from Javier De Pedro.

Also in Group D, Galatasaray revived their chances of progressing to the knockout stages with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Greek side Olympiakos.
