Sir, – Given Dr James Reilly's promise to abolish the 50 cent prescription charge on taking office, before increasing it to €1.50 and in last month's budget further increasing it to €2.50, coupled with his apparent "problem" in dealing with figures in general (as instanced by his utter inability to offer even an approximation of his department's budget overrun/supplementary budget requirements), does he actually mean there will be free GP care for all by 2026?
