Sir, - Like An Taisce, Temple Bar Properties has been calling for some time for a properly enforced listing system to be introduced, as a means of protecting the built heritage of Dublin. The public debate on what constitutes "good" conservation practice, in our view, is only really beginning. As a contribution to this debate, we are organising an architectural exhibition of all aspects of our approach to development - including conservation - which will open on Thursday, July 4th - in three venues in Temple Bar: Arthouse in Curved Street, The Ark and No. 17 Eustace Street.

I would like to extend an invitation to any interested member of the public to visit this exhibition, and explore the full range of decisions and choices which flow from the decision to restore old buildings for new uses, and thereby give them a new lease of life. Yours, etc.,

Managing Director,

Temple Bar Properties
