STICKERS

Sir, - In reply to the letter from R. D

Sir, - In reply to the letter from R. D. Banton (January 22nd) about international mail: the notice in the post offices asks our customers to put an airmail sticker on the envelope if the letter is going abroad. By doing so, we can identify the international letters and arrange to get them to the airport quickly. This improves the quality of service. The notice also appears in every post office in Europe, as we are all committed to improving the quality of our service.

The airmail stickers are available, free of charge, in the post. For those companies who have a high daily volume of airmail letters, An Post will supply you with artwork so that the airmail logo, can be printed on your envelope. - Yours, etc.,
