Madam, - I write in connection with your report of October 26th headed "Apology from newspapers sought by crash survivor", which concerned legal complaints against several newspapers from Julia Kushnir, who survived the Moscow car crash in which Liam Lawlor died.
No such apology has been sought from the News of the World for the simple reason that our report on Mr Lawlor's death made no reference to the allegation about which Ms Kushnir complains. - Yours, etc,
