Sir, – It is somewhat refreshing to hear that Dublin City Council have already started work on smoothing out the capital’s streets in advance of the Bavaria City Racing event next year, which is to be spear-headed by Jenson Button (Home News, November 10th).
It’s just a pity it couldn’t do it all the time for all of us road-tax paying motorists. – Yours, etc,
