Madam, - At the National Concert Hall last Friday the Cleveland Orchestra gave the most masterful performance of Mahler's Seventh Symphony I think I will ever hear.
Although the ticket prices were reasonable, the performers were conservatively dressed, the performance was flawless and no histrionic extra-musical special effects were employed, I got to see the best American act in Ireland last weekend. - Yours, etc.,
