Sir, – Prayers dedicated to God before Dáil sessions could be replaced by a moment of silence. This would allow religious-minded TDs to say their prayers silently and give non-religious TDs a chance to pause in readiness before the work of the Dáil begins. It is not fair to make elected members of the Dáil pray to a God that they do not believe in. – Yours, etc,
