Sir, - It was with regret that I read of the death of that warm and witty sports personality, Noel Henderson. In his article (August 28th) Edmund van Esbeck omits to mention that, as well as his exploits on the rugby field, Noel (and his brother George) represented Ireland at badminton - both were team-mates of mine in the 1960s. His many, many friends in the badminton world will be saddened at the news of his death. - Yours, etc.,
