Madam, - While drinking in some well-known pubs in the Baggot Street area of Dublin on Saturday night I was surprised by the lack of receipts issued and, more importantly, at the price being charged for drinks. The worst was the €40 a French visitor was charged for two small whiskeys, one Coke and one pint of beer.
Is it any wonder our tourist trade is in decline? - Yours, etc.,
