Sir, - Radius Television Productions in Dublin has been commissioned by RTE to produce the first historical documentary on a century of lesbian and gay sexuality in Ireland.This film will take as its starting point the trial of Oscar Wilde in 1895 and finish with the enactment of equality-based laws on homosexuality in the 1990s.In order to make the programme as representative as possible the producers will need personal testaments, correspondence, photographs and footage from gays and lesbians who live in Ireland and from those who emigrated.There is a possibility that this programme will visit London and New York to interview participants.
