Sir, – Risteárd Mulcahy says he has been cycling in public for 74 years (February 1st). I can attest to 70 of those years.
In 1943, I nearly collided with him on Rathmines Road when I had to swerve suddenly to prevent my front wheel catching in the tram tracks. My apologies!
