Sir, – With regard to your Editorial "Blair's failed mission" (June 2nd), Tony Blair brought nothing but carnage to the people of Iraq and the wider Middle East, the results of which we now see being played out by the reactionary force of Islamic State and the horrific scenes of terrified refugees fleeing in rickety boats across the Mediterranean. What an insult to the people of the Middle East that he was ever appointed peace envoy.
Good riddance to the warmonger. – Yours, etc,
