Madam, - Given that restaurants are obliged by law to have toilets for disabled people, would it be too much to ask that a similar provision be introduced to ensure that adequate baby-changing facilities are made available?

I note that even self-styled family-friendly restaurants such as Mario's in Sandymount and Frank's on Grand Canal Quay do not provide any such facility. Rather, they suggest you change babies on unoccupied seats. The hygiene or otherwise of this practice (for all parties involved) is at best questionable. - Yours, etc.,
