Sir, – Last Monday, during evening rush-hour, as I was on the M50 approaching the N11 junction heading south, a large SUV cut into the space between my car and the vehicle ahead, causing me to brake sharply. This driver then proceeded to tailgate the cars ahead, performed two undertaking manoeuvres, which caused traffic in both lanes to brake sharply and, finally, 2½ miles later, the SUV driver turned left off the N11 towards Greystones, a junction I passed eight seconds later, having stayed in the same lane throughout.
I’m wondering what the SUV driver planned to use those eight seconds for? – Yours, etc,
