Sir, – Every morning I wrestle with an existential crisis. Should I cook my porridge in the microwave or slow-cook it on the stove? Or should I do as my mother did and cook it the night before and leave it settle overnight on the cooker? And then should I sprinkle a little sugar and milk on it or infuse it with berries, nuts and honey? It’s a conundrum for sure. – Yours, etc,
