Sir, – With capacity at Dublin Port coming under increasing strain, could I ask how much of the cargo has to come through the port?
In other words, how much of the freight is bound for, let’s say, within 50 kilometres of Dublin? I realise that the majority of economic activity is in the eastern half of the country but could more cargo be routed through Drogheda, Rosslare, Waterford, New Ross or any other port? – Yours, etc,
