Sir, – Further to recent correspondence (Letters, May 2nd), I wore mini-skirts and loved them. I still have one and I marvel at its brevity.
I am reminded of the story of a friend who was waiting for a lift outside Clery’s in O’Connell Street. Fearing that she had missed the arrival of her friend’s car, she asked a passing garda if he had seen a nun in a red Mini. He replied, “No, but nothing would surprise me.” – Yours, etc,
