Sir, – Elaine Byrne draws attention to the increased number of concerts in Marley Park this year and that the park will be closed to the public in favour of commercial interests (Letters, May 1st).
The same could be said for Fairview Park, St Anne’s Park, Phoenix Park, Iveagh Gardens and Malahide Castle Gardens, all of which have had similar restrictions placed on public access in recent years for similar commercial reasons.
It is time someone shouted stop. – Yours, etc,
