When a High Court judge inquired yesterday if a Zairean woman - the subject of a production order - had been found, he was told that she was now in London following a decision by immigration officials preventing her from landing from a Holyhead ferry.
Ms Madeleine Dikilu, with an address at Fernwood Lawn, Springfield, Tallaght, Dublin, got an order last Thursday from Mr Justice Finnegan which required the Dublin Port harbour police to bring her before the court and give reasons for her detention.
Yesterday, Mr Justice Finnegan was told by counsel for Ms Dikilu that she was no longer in Dublin and that she had been put back on the ferry almost as soon as it arrived.
The case was adjourned to May 8th.
