LONDON - Russian president Boris Yeltsin is sending his grandson to a top English public school. The 15 year old also called Boris starts at exclusive Millfield school this coming term.

The school, in Street, Somer set, charges boarding fees of about £4,500 stg a term, and came 211th in a list of 531 private schools ranked in order of performance in GCSE exams issued yesterday.

Former pupils include athlete Mary Rand, swimmer Duncan Goodhew, actor Jason Connery (son of Sean Connery), Welsh rugby legend J.P.R. Williams, disc jockey Tony Blackburn, financier Sir James Goldsmith and tennis star Mark Cox.
