A woman aged in her 50s after she was struck by a farm vehicle in Co Cavan today.
The incident happened at Killcogy village at about 12pm.
A tractor struck the woman on a public road close to the village. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to Cavan General hospital where a postmortem examination will take place.
Forensic collision investigators are at the scene and the road is currently closed with traffic diversions in place.
