Two people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after a weekend arson attack on a block of flats in Downpatrick

Two people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after a weekend arson attack on a block of flats in Downpatrick. They were rescued from the Meadowlands estate after a fire was started in a rubbish chute. The hall and landing of the block was extensively damaged. It was the second fire at the flats in four days.
