The man who died in a road traffic collision at Townparks near Wexford town at 2 a.m. this morning was named as 21-year-old Mr Ian Rossiter from Belvedere Grove, Wexford.

Three other people travelling with Mr Rossiter were taken to hospital for treatment. The occupants of the second car received minor injuries.

The man who died in a road crash in the village of Collon in Co Louth last night was named as Mr Patrick Grimes, aged 72 from Kells Road, Collon.

The incident occurred at around 9.45 p.m. on Drogheda Street.
