Two men have been arrested in Drogheda after a Post Office van was stolen in the town yesterday evening.
They are being detained under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act and are expected before a special sitting of the District Court later today.
The men got into the van and drove off while a postman was making deliveries at Dyer Street at 4 p.m.
The burned out vehicle was located later at King Williams Glen, Tullyallen, Drogheda.
