The North's Education Minister has announced plans to create a network of teachers to provide translation and support services to pupils from ethnic minorities.

Speaking at a conference on racial equality in education in Kells, Co Meath, yesterday, Mr Martin McGuinness said the £700,000 investment showed his Department was committed to "changing ill-informed and deep-seated ignorance".
