LONDON - A woman believed to have aborted a baby she was carrying for a Dutch couple last night admitted she was still pregnant. Ms Karen Roche confessed she never underwent the abortion she claimed took place on April 8th, according to the Mirror newspaper.
Sonja and Clemens Peeters, the couple who paid her a reported £12,000 to carry the baby, said they were "totally shocked and stunned". The revelation comes just two days after the maternity nurse, from Scarborough, claimed she aborted the baby since she did not think the couple were committed to the pregnancy. Ms Roche admitted she lied about the termination to prevent having to hand over the child.
