Ned Sullivan has been appointed non-executive chairman of Eircom replacing Pierre Danon who announced in June he was stepping down.
Mr Sullivan is currently chairman of Greencore and of McInerney Holdings and is a non-executive director of Anglo-Irish Bank, Eircom said in a statement today.
He is also a former group managing director of Glanbia and has held senior management positions in Grand Metropolitan.
