A search is underway for a man (78) who went missing after his boat capsized off the Co Clare this afternoon.
The alarm was raised shortly after 3.30pm when it was reported that a boat had overturned near the Diamond Rocks in Kilkee.
The Kilkee Marine Rescue Service and the Shannon-based Irish Coast Guard helicopter were earlier taking part in the search.
Another man, who was also on the boat, was rescued from the sea shortly after the alarm was raised
He was taken to Tralee General Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
